Our Visit to the Nasim Iqbal Eye Camp in Orangi Town
Service finds its truest meaning in the lives it touches, a truth deeply felt during our visit to the Nasim Iqbal Eye Camp in Orangi Town on Sunday, August 30, 2026. Attending at the heartfelt invitation of Rtn. M. Ibrahim, fellow Rotarians Yousuf Aziz, Rizwan Jaffar, Fiza Khan, Shabnam Akbar, and Azra Ali were received with graceful hospitality, marked by a ribbon-cutting and a presentation of flowers. Since 2006, the Naseem Iqbal Eye and Diabetic Clinic has quietly worked miracles, entirely free of charge, sustained by the generous donations of loving family and friends to offer dignity and healing to the underserved. Guided by Rtn. Ibrahim on a tour of the facility, our hearts grew full as we met the forty patients calmly preparing for their cataract procedures. To witness their journey from shadow into light was an unforgettable, emotional experience. We are filled with immense pride for Rtn. M. Ibrahim Barry, and we are deeply grateful to him for making us a part of his journey.
